Deciding to move to a new city can be daunting yet exciting time. Whether you are reinventing yourself or looking for new opportunities, choosing a new hometown is a big decision. I recently decided to move to Houston, TX from a small town and I haven’t regretted it. When I arrived, I began looking for medical assistant programs in Houston because I noticed that there were plenty of job openings in the field. In my hometown, jobs were so hard to come by but in Houston, the newspaper is full of employers seeking job applicants.
I decided to attend Sanford Brown Institute Houston to get a diploma in medical office training. Sanford Brown offered just the kind of programs that I was looking for. Known for its flexible, innovative programs, I felt that I would learn the latest technologies and programs. With short term completion programs, I had a diploma in hand just months after making my decision to attend. Now, not only do I have a job that I love, I can pay my own bills, with no help from my family.
Independence and the excitement of a big city are just two of the benefits of living in Houston but my training at Sanford Brown helped make by dreams a reality.
